Duane W. Roberts Named CEO of Electronic Health Plans, Inc.

Electronic Health Plans, Inc. (EHP) is pleased to announce that Duane W. Roberts has been named as the new CEO of our company. He will continue in his role on the Board of Directors, which he was appointed to last November.
Additionally, Stephen A. Garnock, a long time employee who is currently working as the company Controller, has been appointed as the new CFO of EHP.
Duane W. Roberts has more than 30 years of experience in developing, implementing and operating state-of-the-art Health Care Administration Systems.
His prior experience includes responsibility and oversight for claim system implementations at Mutual of Omaha, CIGNA (when it was Connecticut General), Aetna (5 sites for Medicare) and for over 35 Third Party Administrators in all areas of the country. He designed claims systems as well as Utilization and Managed Care systems for First Health (now part of Coventry). He has also created systems for Medicare, Medicaid, commercial health insurance, and worker's compensation insurance.
Mr. Roberts has also been responsible for designing systems which have been installed in companies such as Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield, Minnesota Blue Cross and Pennsylvania Blue Shield. He has designed systems for all major government programs – Medicare, Medicaid, and CHAMPUS (now known as Tricare) – as well as systems for commercial programs of major insurers.
Stephen A. Garnock is now our Chief Financial Officer. He has over 30 years of experience in the fields of finance, education, health care, software design and development, data processing and data entry operations, as well as extensive experience in large scale project management.
The appointment of Mr. Roberts and Mr. Garnock marks a new starting point for EHP. They bring leadership, management and organizational skills that will allow EHP to achieve the growth it seeks for its stockholders. After several years of research and development, the company will now focus on production, implementation and growth through a focused strategy to capitalize on our innovative technology. EHP administers Managed Care Services and offers Healthcare Claims Auto-Adjudication with the highest efficiency and the best audit results.
